1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in a similar way. Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and UK GDPR, we must ask for your consent before using any cookies that are not strictly necessary for the website to work.
2. Cookies we use
Strictly necessary
These are essential and cannot be switched off. They do not collect information for marketing or analytics.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
lds_cookie_consent | LDS Recovery and Services | Remembers your cookie choices so we don’t ask on every page | 6 months |
Analytics (optional)
We do not currently use any analytics cookies. If we start to, they will only be set if you choose to accept them, and this policy will be updated.
Marketing (optional)
We do not currently use any marketing or advertising cookies.
Payments
If you make a card payment through a secure payment page provided by our payment provider (Stripe), that provider may set cookies that are strictly necessary for processing the payment and preventing fraud. These are covered by Stripe’s cookie policy.
3. Your choices
When you first visit our website, we ask whether you accept optional cookies. Rejecting them is as easy as accepting them, and the website works fully either way. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time:
If you withdraw consent, we will stop using optional cookies and delete the ones we can.
4. Browser controls
Most browsers also let you view, block and delete cookies through their settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may mean we can’t remember your choices. Find out more at ico.org.uk.
